Proper Conduct

Facility Use

- Students will be directed onto floor when class begins, until then, please wait in the designated waiting area.

- Parents are required to stay for students ages 4 and under.

Pick Up

- Students must be picked up promptly at the end of each session at Mill Valley Gymnastics. Coaches are not responsible for children left unattended after class is over.

- A late-pick-up fee of $30 per student will be charged for pick-ups later than fifteen minutes after their session has ended.

Illness

- DO NOT bring your child to the gym if they are sick. Your child will be sent home if ill.

Proper Attire

- For safety and comfort, students should wear tucked-in T-shirts or tank tops and athletic shorts or leotards.

- No socks, tights that cover the feet, or shoes are allowed during class.

- Chewing gum is prohibited on the floor.

- Jewelry (except for stud earrings) is not permitted.

- Long hair must be secured back and all hair kept out of the face. No large bows, claw clips, or hair ornaments allowed.

Parking Policies

Due to local parking restrictions and absence of onsite parking, we require your commitment to our drop off and pick up policies:

- Abide by all traffic laws while dropping off and picking up gymnasts

- No double parking on Locust Avenue (or surrounding streets)

- DO NOT block driveways in any scenario

- No parking in commercial property lots unless you are a patron to the separate establishment (e.g. 7-Eleven)

- No stopping in red/"no parking" zones

We encourage our gymnasts and their family members to walk or bike to Mill Valley Gymnastics since it is conveniently located in the flats with easy access from Sycamore Park and Miller Avenue. If you choose to drive to class, two-hour street parking is available in the surrounding area, including the Miller Avenue median. We also encourage carpooling to minimize traffic in and out of Mill Valley.
